Caroline Steadman FDsc MBACP
I am an experienced and qualified Humanistic counsellor. I offer sessions to adults in the south part of the City of Bristol. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MBACP).
I gained my FDSC in counselling from Bristol University and my training is based in Humanistic theories and the person centred approach. I believe we are the experts of ourselves and at times doubt our own feelings and thoughts. This approach, with help and support enables you to find the answers within, helping you to feel empowered and work towards being autonomous.
I work in South Bristol and offer a confidential safe space where we work together to explore your issues and to establish a genuine counselling relationship with empathy and unconditional positive regard being present.
I have worked with a wide range of clients and have experience of working with adults that are experiencing low self esteem, depression, anxiety, loss or grief, loneliness and addictions including alcohol and gambling.
I offer one-to-one long term counselling or short term. We can work together in the sessions to establish how many sessions you may require. I offer face to face and telephone sessions. I work on a Friday face to face and some appointments on a Saturday morning. The times for telephone sessions are flexible and negotiable.
If you would like to get in touch please call or email for further information, and one call can make a small step on a new path.
