Taking the first step to accessing therapy takes courage. I hope that you find the support that can assist you to achieve your goals in moving forward in your life.
I am a trained qualified and Registered counsellor with 20yrears of experience with different counselling modalities.
I have offices in Birmingham where I provide counselling to meet the needs of the individual. adults, children and young people. These offices are situated in a safe, confidential space which allows you the freedom to explore the issues that brought you to counselling.
I am a person-centred counsellor and I work with children, young people and adults who are experiencing a range of difficulties such as Anxiety, depression, past trauma, relationship issues bereavement, loss, low self-esteem and self-harm.
Even though I am a person-centred I also incorporate other approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy( CBT) in my practice.
My beliefs are that providing a non-judgemental and empathetic approach will help to build a trusting therapeutic relationship which I believe is fundamental to the individual progressing in counselling.
Has a counsellor and Trainee play therapist with over 10 years of experience working with children and young people. I believe that children first medium of expression is through play, For this reason, I may use play to help the child safely express their feelings and experiences.
