Caroline Kent - BA(Hons), PGCE, DIP C. (Biblical Counselling on request)
My counselling approach is integrative and so I use elements of the following therapies when I counsel, tailoring my approach to the needs of individuals and couples:
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
- Person Centred Counselling
- Psychotherapeutic Counselling
- Internet / Skype / Zoom / Phone Counselling
I also offer Biblical Christian Counselling on request - I do not impose my own values upon my clients but enable them to integrate their own faith into their counselling process as they wish.
I usually work face-to-face with individuals, couples and children from my home in Hadleigh, near Ipswich in Suffolk. Some clients also find the presence of our friendly dog to be helpful to their therapeutic process but this is entirely optional!
Increasingly, clients are opting for counselling via Internet Video link. This enables you to call in from anywhere in the UK (or beyond) for confidential counselling.

Over the course of my life, I have attended many different churches. I grew up in an Anglican Church, was a lay reader, studied theology and religious studies at university and was head of the university ecumenical committee.
I was converted after leaving university and trained to become a teacher, attended a baptist church and married an actuary. Since marrying in 1995, we have attended reformed baptist churches and my husband is now the Elder of the tiny church in Suffolk, of which we are members.
I believe the Bible contains the truth and wisdom of God which, applied to our everyday lives, can help us negotiate the trials and tribulations we face in the modern age.
I counsel Christians and non-Christians seeking to demonstrate "love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance" for against such there is no law.
