You may be feeling depressed, fearful, lonely or isolated or experiencing a loss or bereavement and finding it hard to get back to feeling a sense of normality. You may be experiencing problems with your relationship. Your problems may be long standing or triggered by a one off event or situation.
We all need help sometimes and reaching out and asking for support can be difficult. I offer a confidential, supportive, calm, safe and non-judgemental space in which you can talk about your experience and explore ways to improve life or your ways of coping with life's difficulties.Counselling can help you to gain new understanding, supporting you to find and develop the resources and skills needed to be able to deal with your problems. It can help you to achieve better relationships, develop resilience and challenge destructive ways of thinking about yourself amongst many other things.
I am trained as an integrative practitioner which means that I have undertaken training in Person Centred, Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) and Psychodynamic counselling. These different approaches are integrated into my practice and my work with you.
I am in an easy to reach location with ample inexpensive parking nearby and several buses stop outside the building. I am also around 10 minutes walk from Five Ways rail station.
Both the building and my office have disabled access.
