About me

I offer clinical psychology services, assessment and psychotherapy to individuals and couples. In addition to traditional therapy and workshops I work with nature and animal co-therapists to provide equine/canine facilitated psychotherapy and nature based therapy sessions. In addition to psychotherapy I offer one to one or group mindfulness and relaxation sessions, self hypnosis, guided imagery and personal development sessions/workshops.

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years experience of working in the NHS, charity and independent sectors providing psychotherapy, clinical supervision, staff support and personal development to individuals and groups. I am passionate about enabling others to reconnect to the natural world and their own innate wisdom. I work closely with horses and I am a trained instructor in the Eponaquest®model of equine facilitated psychotherapy and learning.

I also provide supervision and professional cpd to therapists and equine facilitated team building days for businesses. Please contact me for further details about the services I offer in the Fermanagh area. I can provide a variety of professional and personal development workshops further afield, again please contact me by telephone or email for further details or to discuss your bespoke requirements.

Services offered include:

  • Personal development (individual and group programmes)
  • Equine facilitated psychotherapy
  • Nature based therapy
  • Introductory courses in Mindfulness
  • Relaxation sessions

  • Low self esteem & self worth
  • Relationship problems
  • Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Bullying
  • Bereavement
  • Living with/adjusting to injury, chronic or terminal illness
  • Chronic pain management

Personal development can help people to understand themselves better and to develop skills such as assertiveness, confidence building, relationship skills, and other valuable life skills.

Equine facilitated psychotherapy is a type of experiential therapy where clients interact with horses instead of engaging in conventional talking therapy. It can be very helpful for people who find it difficult to talk about their emotions.
