About me
I'm a couples counsellor and I love helping couples have less conflict and more connection. Maybe you just want to get to a place where you don't keep arguing and things are more calm or you want more connection and more intimacy, and more fun together.
If you’ve been wondering sometimes if you'd be better off splitting up because you can't carry on living this way anymore, there is hope for you as a couple. I will help you to break the habits you're in right now and find a better way to communicate.
I provide a safe space to discuss things in a way that you can't do at home, without it causing a big argument and I love to see couples get along better.
It is the best investment of your time and money, to start a process that will enhance your relationship. It has the side benefit of modelling a good healthy relationship for your children You know they don’t want to see you fighting but you don’t know how to get out of this negative dance you keep repeating right now.
I will show you how to calm down and calm each other down you will start to notice the atmosphere changing and becoming more relaxed, have more peace and enjoy doing things together.
All this leads to greater sense of connection and intimacy as a couple, which means a happier home and family life.
Training, qualifications & experience
Carole was trained at Relate as a couples counsellor and then trained as a Human Givens therapist so she has tools to calm couples down and also to treat underlying anxiety and depression and trauma. This is useful as sometimes individual issues need to be addressed in order to have the best outcome possible from the couples counselling.
