About me
I would like to start by reassuring you that there is no right or wrong way to be a client. Bring who you are and be confident that you will be accepted and offered respect and confidentiality.
I am a member of the NCPS. I have been a qualified integrative counsellor for 18 years. I bring together the Person-Centred, Cognitive Behavioural and Psychodynamic Models of counselling to help give me the most effective way of responding to clients particular needs. I am offer a warm and non-judgemental space for my clients to explore their worries and discover the best way to a way forward and develop resilience and hope.
I was a teacher for over two decades and I work particularly well with teenagers having led a schools-based counselling service and held the post of Senior Practitioner in a local authority Early Help and Therapeutic Service.
I am a qualified clinical supervisor and have many years of experience offering supervision to Employee Assistance Programmes, Schools Based Counselling Services, and the Third Sector.

I volunteered as a Bereavement Counsellor for CRUSE over several years and have a particular interest in working with grief and loss of any kind.
