About me

Therapy is a wonderful opportunity to understand more about yourself, how different aspects of your personality can work together in a positive way or how they can overwhelm with anxiety or depression. Gaining insight, discovering and acknowledging inner resources gives an opportunity to enhance life and bring peace of mind.

I have many years’ experience of counselling and supervising counsellors and offer a non-judgmental and accepting warm space where you will be welcomed. My clients come with a wide variety of issues but each person is treated as a unique individual and a way forward for them is found according to their needs. I offer short term therapy regarding a particular issue in life or longer-term personal development when life has been clouded by childhood distress, trauma, bereavement and other debilitating issues which prevent movement towards potential.

If you have not accessed therapy before, or even if you have, it can feel strange and a bit daunting, however I would encourage you to have an initial session, meet with me and see how you feel. There is no obligation to continue, it is in your hands!

I am currently working through zoom and have found this to be most effective as long as you can access a non-interrupted and confidential space for sessions.

About me personally - I am CIS gendered, Buddhist, nature lover, veg grower and dog owner/walker...

Other areas of counselling I deal with

There are many 'areas of counselling' and many categories of diagnosis, however my way of working is to meet each individual person with compassion and help them see their capacity for growth and wholeness despite their 'issue' or their 'label'.

So if you do not find your 'area' of counselling here, don't be downhearted, you are welcome to get in touch!
