About me

Hi I’m Carol, I am a Pluralistic Counsellor exclusively offering online counselling services. I specialise in working with anxiety and I am committed to helping people eliminate anxiety from their life.

My sessions are tailored to suit each person’s personal needs and preferences, we will collaboratively discuss which approach to therapy best suits you. I incorporate many different modalities of counselling into my work such as Person-Centred Therapy, CBT and Hypnosis.

If you would like fast results, we can do deep inner work to discover the root cause of why you are experiencing anxiety.  We can then upgrade any outdated, or unhelpful thoughts and beliefs and install new healthy, and empowering believes that will help you reach your goals.

Do you feel anxiety is controlling your life?

Are you are avoiding social situations for fear of having a panic attack, or it may be that you can no longer concentrate on things you used to do with ease? Typically, if you are living with an Anxiety Disorder you will be living with excessive fear, dread and worry...

This can negatively impact on relationships, work, and how you perceive and treat yourself, it can make you feel that you are not good enough. Anxiety can result in self-sabotaging behaviours such as eating unhealthily, drinking alcohol excessively, or you might find yourself procrastinating by binge watching TV, or surfing the internet.

It is also common for people with anxiety to believe “this is just the way I am”, or “I just need to snap out of it”.  This is not true, and it doesn’t have to be this way, as anxiety can be removed from your life.

If you think I can help you - please get in touch.

I am warm in nature, empathetic and non-judgemental. I offer a free 30-minute discovery call so you can let me know what is going on for you, and we can discuss how I can help - send me an email or give me a call.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
