About me

Feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or looking for support? Struggling with depression, anxiety, self-harm or abuse?

Private therapy offers you the chance to explore your challenges with someone who is independent and non-judgemental.

I am the Founder and Director of Vitus Wellbeing (www.vituswellbeing.com), a private mental health clinic in Fulham. I'm pleased to have an expert team of specialist Psychotherapists working with me, supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples and families with their mental health and relationships.

Following a free initial call or email exchange, we'll match you, or your family member, to the right therapist for you. Our highly sought-after team are very well-qualified, with a wealth of experience and a very warm, friendly approach.

--------------------

I personally work on a one-to-one basis with adults and adolescents (of secondary-school-age and above) through Vitus Wellbeing in South West London (Fulham / Putney) and online via video calls. I have limited availability for clients as I manage the day-to-day operations for Vitus Wellbeing and I consult for private healthcare provider, HCA. Contact me for my current availability. A waiting list is available when my diary is fully-booked but I'll do my best to accommodate you.

Prior to establishing Vitus Wellbeing, I consulted for The Priory on Harley Street and in Roehampton, and worked in the NHS. I now consult for the UK's largest provider of private healthcare, HCA (via Roodland Medical). I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and abide by their guidelines and framework.

As an integrative practitioner with a human approach, I use theory and techniques from Psychodynamic, Person-Centred, Existential, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to best support you and your needs.

I have considerable experience in working with:

Anger, anxiety, abuse (adult, child, sexual, domestic, physical, financial, emotional), bereavement, bullying, burn-out, career dilemmas, depression, dream interpretations, exam stress, family struggles, identity crises, ill-health, infertility or pregnancy complications, low self-esteem or confidence, panic attacks, relationship difficulties (whether romantic, professional or friendships), sexual difficulties, stress, trauma and feeling lost in life or without direction

--------------------

Personal therapy gives you the space to explore your challenges with someone who is independent and non-judgemental.

Sessions are confidential and I practice with discretion and respect for you and your concerns. I often work with those in the public eye and appreciate the need for discretion and sensitivity.

--------------------

I see many of my clients online via Zoom.

If you'd like to work remotely, there's no need for you to be based nearby - I work with clients across the country and overseas.

I see my face-to-face clients in my suite of therapy rooms in Fulham, South West London.

My practice is on the top floor of Hurlingham Studios, just a minutes' walk from Putney Bridge Underground Station (served by the District line and numerous bus services).

Easily accessible from Barnes, Chelsea, Chiswick, Earl's Court, Fulham, Kensington, Kew, Hammersmith, Mortlake, Parson's Green, Putney, Roehampton, Twickenham, Victoria, Waterloo, Wimbledon, Central London and other surrounding areas.

--------------------

Therapy sessions ideally take place once a week, at the same time each week, for 50 minutes.

Therapy can be long-term, open-ended or short-term (for a pre-determined number of weeks or months), depending upon your goals, your budget or your other commitments.

Finding the right therapist isn't always easy.

It's important that you feel comfortable with your therapist. Contact me with any queries or to book your first session.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
