Carlton Psychology Ltd
8 Carlton Yard
Carlton Psychology is a practice of BPS and HCPC registered professionals – passionate about delivering a high standard of psychological therapy, training and supervision. At Carlton Psychology we only work with professionals we trust implicitly – the same individuals we would recommend to our own friends or family.
We offer psychological therapy for a variety of situations and mental health conditions. Treatments through our practice are recognised by many of the main private healthcare providers or can be paid for by the individual. We believe everybody should be able to access help when they need it without a waiting list or extortionate fees. Our service is accessible and our highly qualified professionals all offer an albeit limited amount of low-cost sessions for those with limited financial resources.
We are a small practice with the advantage of having a wide network of local professionals and organisations to be able to signpost clients on to their best fit in terms of treatment whilst being a small enough practice to ensure all our affiliates are of the highest quality and that we are able to work as a team.
As a group of psychologists and psychotherapists we are suitably qualified to offer a range of evidenced-based interventions. We are passionate about using our significant experience and training in a way that is affordable and accessible to the general public. Frustrated by the diverse experiences of people seeking help with psychological or emotional issues, we wanted to create an organisation that adheres to the highest of professional standards. We are a group of professionals that are excited to share knowledge, are continuously learning from research, and each other, and have the upmost respect for both our clients and our discipline.
At Carlton Psychology, we offer a free half-hour consultation to discuss your area of difficulty and preferred treatment approach during which we can explain to you the choices you have in terms of where you seek help. There are an increasing number of professionals advertising their skills and choosing the right professional can be daunting. Our primary goal is to help people find a good match for them and will be happy to signpost you on to local NHS or charitable organisations where appropriate.
Training, qualifications & experience
Our psychologists and psychotherapists have a broad-based training in psychological theories and models of therapy (counsellors are often trained in one approach). The professionals at Carlton Psychology represent a diverse range of specialisms, but what we have in common is a passion for our work and a dedication to contributing to our local community.
All of the professionals at Carlton Psychology are highly qualified and experienced. We offer a range of specialism - please visit our website for more information.

8 Carlton Yard,
Victoria Road - Central Car Park
Conveniently located in the centre of Farnham, we are easy to access via train, bus or car.
We are tucked away in a quiet office in the centre of town, accessible via central carpark. Carlton Yard is tucked away in the corner of central carpark and is the home to NHB recruitment, The Natural Therapy Centre and 'The Traditional Plaice' (a fish and chip shop).
As you head towards the fish and chip shop from the carpark rather than Downing Street entrance, turn to your right and head under the arch. We are number 8, which is in the building on your left hand side. The door should be open but please ring the buzzer if not. We are upstairs. Please walk in and take a seat in the waiting room. We will meet you there. If you have any difficulty finding us, please feel free to call or text your therapist or call the office on 01252 711 199.
Please bear in mind that during times when all our team are in sessions, we might not be able to respond to the buzzer or phone calls until our scheduled appointment time. We try to leave the doors open for this reason.
We offer regular peer supervision and CPD events and workshops. We are always looking to expand our network and have beautiful rooms to share with like-minded individuals. Please arrange to pop in or drop us an email if you would like to find out more.
