Carla Di Falco - UKCP Registered
I am a Systemic and Family Psychotherapist as well as a Psychologist. I work with individuals, adults or adolescents, and with couples and families with young children, adolescents or grown ups.
I can offer day, afternoon and early evening sessions in Angel Islington. I can speak also Italian (my mother tongue) and French (as mother tongue).
I believe that relationships take a crucial role in our thoughts and in our life and therapy can be seen as a space to explore and understand how we relate to our significant others and where the difficulties that we are experiencing in these relationships may be coming from.
People lead very complex and busy lives and loneliness is experienced more and more often. Therapy can give an opportunity to increase the awareness of the Self and to improve how the client interacts and communicates with the others.
People may decide to come to therapy for different reasons. They may be experiencing some difficulties and/or changes in their life that are affecting them and/or their family/significant others. They may also decide to come to therapy to have an opportunity to think about how they would like to improve their life, their confidence and self-esteem.
I work with people from very diverse cultures and experiencing a broad range of emotional difficulties: from worries that are having a significant impact on their daily life to anxiety, depression, bereavement, changes in their family structure, in their couple life etc.
I see the first session as an opportunity for the client to explain what he or she would like to achieve by coming to therapy and for both the therapist and the client to get to know each other and to see how they could work together.
