About me
Psychosexual Therapist, Couples & Relationship Specialist
As a qualified psychosexual therapist, and a registered member of COSRT (College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists), I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to support individuals and couples facing psychosexual challenges; helping clients to navigate and overcome complex concerns encompassing intimacy, desire and relationship challenges, with a commitment to prioritising survivors of sexual violence, exploitation, modern slavery and trafficking. I have a diverse background in social work, from substance use to domestic abuse and specialise in advocating for those selling sex.
I integrate a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). My approach is trauma-informed and always tailored to meet the unique needs of the client.
My practice is anti-oppressive and rooted in liberal feminism, actively challenging stigma, inequality, and harmful narratives surrounding sexuality and relationships. I recognise the cultural and religious barriers faced by marginalised communities and advocate for a client-centered, strengths-based approach, empowering clients to reclaim their autonomy and achieve their therapeutic goals.
I provide a safe, inclusive (LGBTQIA2S+), and sex-positive space for all, offering individual and couples therapy via the phone, online, and where possible, face-to-face, ensuring flexibility and accessibility.
