About me

About me

I am an experienced trauma-informed CBT therapist who uses a variety of evidence-based approaches to support and enhance your experience of the therapeutic process. These include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Rational Emotive Behaviour therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Polyvagal Theory and Hypnotherapy. In this way, I am able to formulate treatment to meet your individual needs.

Issues I can help you with may include: depression, grief and low self worth. Anxiety and panic attacks - including generalised, health, social, financial and work anxiety. Body/ mind conditions and chronic pain. Relationship conflict and physical and emotional abuse. Trauma and PTSD. Family issues, couples therapy and parenting. Fertility and Miscarriage. OCD and ADHD. Phobias and Addiction.

I hope you will find our work together uplifting, enlightening and healing. Never overwhelming or unmanageable. I have a relaxed and informal manner and endeavour to create a really safe and affirming environment for you to explore your life, the things that have happened to you and the beliefs that you hold that may be keeping you from thriving in your life. You don’t need to prepare anything, just show up, online or in-person.

During our sessions we will work together as we create a treatment plan to most effectively address the areas in your life where you stuck or in pain. By shifting, transforming and healing painful experiences and beliefs that you hold because of them, you will learn skills that will serve you long past the therapy room.
