About us
Bromley Counselling & Bereavement Service have been serving the community since 1995 and are located at Bromley North, with bus routes on our doorstep and train stations just a 5 minute walk from the Service and although we are based in Bromley, we are not restricted geographically.
The Service has Organisational Membership of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and The National Counselling Society, and we adhere to the Ethical Framework of BACP's Guidelines for Good Practice.
We are wheelchair friendly with a stair lift to the first floor where we have created a confidential and safe environment for all our clients. Our counselling rooms are light and airy and are decorated tastefully to create a welcoming, peaceful and warm ambience.
The Service manager is a very experienced Accredited Psychotherapists who is also a qualified Clinical Supervisor. The Service has a diverse team of counsellors/psychotherapists which gives us the luxury of being able to offer you an immediate assessment appointment and counselling sessions commencing on a day and time to suit you.

Training, qualifications & experience
Our qualifications include, Master Degrees, Advanced Diplomas in Therapeutic Counselling and Psychotherapy. Diplomas in Clinical Supervision. Couple Counselling, Working with Mental Health, Group Therapy, Family Therapy, CBT, Gestalt, Existential, Transactional Analysis, Alcohol Awareness, Substance Misuse, Dual Diagnosis, Addictions, Drug/Alcohol. Therapeutic Applications of Mindfulness, The Impact of loss and bereavement in families, Working with Young People.
We have experience working in Mental Health for the NHS and in facilitating groups for families and friends of people with addictions. It is a requirement of our Service for all our counsellors/psychotherapists to undertake training in Bereavement and Loss.
We specialise with young people of any age offering General and Bereavement Counselling.
We are integratively trained and are able to work with all Counselling issues that our clients bring to their sessions.
