About me

Counselling in Marlborough, Swindon and Woodborough:

If you are in need of counselling support, you have come to the right place. I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist, registered and accredited with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), offering a warm, confidential and professional psychotherapy service.

Asking for help can be hard, but it is possible to address even the most deep-seated problems. I work in a warm and empathic way, shaping the therapy to your particular needs. I offer an introductory session in which I can listen to what you need and you can decide whether I am the right therapist for you. We can then agree to work together short or long-term, reviewing our progress along the way.

I offer regular weekly appointments in lovely rooms in Woodborough, Marlborough and Swindon, working with a wide range of clients of all ages and backgrounds, and I am experienced in dealing with many different issues.

Please get in touch if you are currently struggling or in pain, need extra support or would like to understand yourself better. Taking the first step of contacting a counsellor is very brave but can be immensely worthwhile. I look forward to hearing from you.

I offer a warm, professional and confidential supervision service for counsellors and psychotherapists from my base in Marlborough. I have an Advanced Specialist Diploma in Relational Supervision from Severn Talking Therapy and am particularly interested in the therapeutic relationship within supervision. I offer regular monthly 1.5 hour supervision sessions through 12 months of the year, with extra time negotiable if required.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Key details

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

I have ground floor access at my base in Woodborough.
