Bridget Chapman MBACP - Inner Being Therapy
Welcome to Inner Being Therapy! Are you worrying too much about different things? Feeling afraid as if something awful might happen. Feeling bad about yourself? Little interest in doing things. Having trouble sleeping? Feeling overwhelmed with emotions and trouble relaxing? These are common signs of depression and anxiety. It takes a brave person to take the first step towards healing themselves and gaining the control back in their lives. We can make this journey together within a safe space. You can reach your goals and become empowered!
I am a qualified and professional counsellor. I have experience of working with adults and young people with a variety of issues. I also have experience of working within the LGBT+ community. I offer person centred counselling and I integrate some Cognitive Behavioural Theory within a confidential and safe environment.
I offer a warm, non-judgemental and confidential environment where we can explore the root cause of your issues. I've helped my clients break through the obstacles that seem to be holding them back in life. I am here to support my clients to achieve a more positive outlook on life and provide them with lifetime tools necessary to get them there.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
