I offer counselling in Shoreham counselling adults, young people and parents. I am a (BACP) Accredited counsellor working in private practice and have over 16 years experience. I offer a supportive, safe space to work through difficult emotions such as anxiety, frustration, loss and depression that can often lead to feeling 'stuck' and low self esteem Issues.
I consider myself to be a compassionate and down to earth person in my personal and professional life and bring warmth and committed to my work as a counsellor.
I also have a special interest in bereavement counselling on a personal and professional level.
I offer short and long term counselling.
I have many years experience working with adults, young people and parents. I have worked as a school counsellor in primary and secondary schools and a sixth form college in the Brighton and Hove area.
I offer transition work for young people making the move from primary to secondary or indeed secondary to college. This can be an anxious daunting time and sometimes young people need emotional support to enable them to move on to the next stage.
I offer clinical supervision for counsellors in various settings.
CRB and DBS Enhanced Certificate
I hold a CRB and DBS Enhanced Disclosure Certificate to work with children and young people.
