Brenda Williams MBACP ACCREDITED COUNSELLOR AND SUPERVISOR
I have been practising for the last 17 years as a counsellor in a rural doctor's surgery in addition to my private practice here in Nantwich.
I believe that working in the NHS has equipped me to work very effectively with clients presenting with many different and personal issues.
I have done voluntary counselling specifically for sexual abuse.
Although I was originally trained in one type of counselling I have over the years integrated many other models into my practice and this has enabled me to work very effectively to help the clients find their own solutions in the shortest time necessary.
I am also qualified in hypnotherapy for those clients struggling to sleep or wish to rid themselves of an unwanted phobia
I offer supervision to counsellors wishing to enhance their own work with clients.

I offer my clients a comfortable room in a private setting with parking facility.
I will guarantee a confidential and empathic place to explore together whatever is causing the distress which is bringing you into this therapeutic environment.
I believe that working together is the best route in solution focussed therapy and by almost becoming active partners in that process will achieve the best results.
It is not always an easy choice to make for many clients as the more 'normal' way in our society is to 'pull yourself together' or hope that members of the family or friends can point you in the right direction. That may help to some degree help but does not always solve the problem permanently and in a positive way.
Working with a trained and experienced counsellor who can present the 'tools' can give you the choice which is best suited to your needs.
