Hello, thank you for reading my profile.
I will try to keep this brief and informative as I am sure you have read through other profiles looking for the right counsellor. I hope you are not finding it too daunting.
I am an experienced integrative counsellor and have helped many individuals navigate through their own personal journeys. It is always pleasure to walk alongside and share each person’s experiences and to see the world as they see it without judgement.
I work privately with clients in Warrington and also work with clients through Macmillan at Halton Hospital.
I am passionate about the counselling process and how having a safe space to talk freely and openly can allow us to be our true selves, having the time to give our thoughts a voice and to look at how we think and feel can be really powerful and enable us to become the person we want to be.
As an integrative counsellor I have been trained to blend together different counselling theories and to work in a way which suits the needs of each client. I work using a Person Centred approach and weave in Psychodynamic, Solution Focused, Transactional Analysis (TA) as well as utilising Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques where appropriate.
I believe that counselling is not a ‘one size’ fits all approach, working in an integrative way means that together we can find the right therapy that will suit you. We will go at a pace that suits you and the sessions are never rushed, it is important that you feel comfortable to talk openly and it is my job to ensure that you feel that you can.
Each session lasts 50 minutes and will usually take place at the same time each week. I offer open ended counselling or time limited (this is usually six to twelve sessions)
Feel free to email me using the 'email me' link or by telephone, please leave a voicemail with your name and preferred time to contact or type of contact i.e. telephone call, email or even text. All enquiries are treated confidentially.
