About me

I am an accredited counsellor with both NHS and private practice experience based in Raynes Park. As an integrative therapist I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches so that when we work together my approach is tailored to your individual needs.

I have experience of working with a range of issues including anxiety, panic attacks, depression and relationship issues.

Counselling offers you a safe and confidential space to explore your thoughts and emotions in a neutral, non-judgemental environment. Together we can identify what is holding you back and find new coping strategies to lead to your personal growth and well-being.

I am an accredited registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and this means that I work to the BACP guidelines and ethics, ensuring the highest professional standards.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a first class BA (hons) in Integrative Relational Counselling through Middlesex University and am an accredited member of the BACP. I am committed to continued professional development and regularly attend workshops and conferences.

My training means that I have the ability to use a number of approaches from Psychodynamic to person centred and CBT techniques and tailor my skills to suit each individual.

I have regular supervision and I am registered with the BACP and adhere to its code of ethics. I also hold full insurance.

I have experience of working with a range of issues and people from many different backgrounds and cultures. My experience spans work-place counselling and work within the NHS.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
