About me

I am a psychodynamic therapist with a strong grounding in working with clients facing a range of emotional and psychological difficulties. While I have a particular focus on supporting neurodiverse individuals, especially those with ADHD, my practice is informed by a wider understanding of the complex challenges people face.

Alongside my therapeutic work, I have professional experience supporting individuals affected by systemic issues such as homelessness, housing instability, and addiction. Through this experience, I have encountered the debilitating effects of addiction, not only on individuals but also on their families and communities. This background has deepened my awareness of how social, economic, and structural factors can shape emotional wellbeing. While my therapeutic work does not exclusively focus on these areas, this experience allows me to approach clients' difficulties with sensitivity to the broader context of their lives, particularly when working with those who have felt marginalised or unsupported by wider systems.

In therapy, I offer a calm and reflective space to slow down, untangle challenges, and explore how personal patterns, life experiences, and external pressures may be influencing your present. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relational difficulties, or challenges associated with neurodiversity, we can work together to foster greater self-understanding and personal growth.

I am committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming space for individuals from all walks of life. My practice honours and respects all protected characteristics, including sexuality, race, religion, disability, gender identity, and expression. I strive to ensure every client feels valued, heard, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

I offer sessions in Walthamstow and Hackney (North East London), as well as online. My standard fee is £75 per session, and I offer a free initial consultation to help us explore whether we’re a good fit to work together. These consultations are typically around 20 minutes long and can be conducted via phone or video call.

Starting therapy can be a significant step, and I understand it may feel daunting. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable and supported as we work together towards meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
