About me

Sometimes we find we experience feelings which we can’t control, which seem to come from nowhere and cannot be explained. What we do know is that this leads to anxiety, unhappiness or even depression. We may feel unexplained anger or have panic attacks or just feel low all the time without being able to understand why. This can affect us as individuals or may lead to relationship issues. We may have family issues or have been affected by affairs or betrayals.

We know that we suppress our true feelings from childhood in order to cope with life. We grow physically and intellectually but remain stuck emotionally as the damage done to us is too painful to cope with. This may have been caused by physical or emotional abuse or a number of other things. The thing is we have buried the cause so deeply we have no idea what it is. All we have is what is left which are the feelings we don’t understand.

In order to discover what it is that makes us how we are Emotional Therapy looks to find the cause, to try and feel the feeling and to allow us to grow emotionally. To find the right balance between our physical, intellectual and emotional self. We can never change what has happened to us in the past but we can understand and this can lead to reconciliation and peace of mind.
