About me

Hi & Welcome to my profile!

I am an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, who is a warm, free spirited and charismatic person. My professional background of over 10 years experience, varies from working with mild to severe adult mental health, to working with special needs and hard to reach children and young people in education.

You may have experienced or are experiencing multiple challenges i.e feeling overwhelmed, out of sync, heightened stressed levels, increased anxiety, low mood or just off! As a result of everyday stressors, conflicting relationships, past and present traumas or present health issues.

My approach is holistic, person-centred and conversational, where I incorporate a variety of techniques from Psychodynamic, CBT & Mindfulness concepts tailoring these to each individual's needs. I believe therapy does not have to be constricted by "old fashioned" norms. I provide an open, relaxed and non-judgmental space where you can talk honestly and freely whilst being yourself and discovering parts of yourself.

I accept all individuals for who they are and help you take those first steps to find what you are looking for. You are deemed as the expert in your life, and I am here to facilitate your journey, empower you to overcome obstacles and develop lasting self worth. If you'd like to begin your journey with me please feel free to send me an email.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
