About me

The struggles we meet in our lives can become overwhelming; I offer a safe, compassionate space for you to share whatever you are facing and together we can help you to discover your own way forward. Moving through what is difficult with real support and commitment to the counselling process can enable changes that before felt unreachable to gradually unfold within.

I have a wide range of experience working with different challenges that people face including anxiety, panic disorder, depression, relationship issues and family issues, self-esteem struggles, bereavement, addiction, trauma / PTSD, adult and childhood experiences of abuse, OCD, eating disorders, mental health difficulties, suicidal feelings and personal self-development.

I also offer Creative Therapy alongside Talking Therapy- for those whom want to explore different ways of expressing themselves this can be a playful, powerful tool for inspiring change in our lives. Creative Therapy might involve the use of colour, movement, sound, paint, clay, crafts, sand-play, writing... whatever you are drawn to that helps you to unfold and discover in a warm, non-judgmental environment

My Therapy room is a comforting, peaceful and private space  5-10 mins walking distance from Glastonbury town center.

I work with children and adults face to face, online and over the telephone; offering one to one and couples/relationship counselling.

Training, qualifications & experience

I studied and gained my CPCAB Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling with Strode College in Street, Somerset after working as a care and support worker for people with mental health difficulties, people with learning disabilities and elders. Studying the therapeutic process in-depth felt very much like the natural way forward for me.

I have worked for Mind and New Dawn Counselling Agencies as well as working in Private Practice.I graduated from Winchester University with a BA honors in Dance and Drama Studies combined. This has served as a strong foundation for supporting clients whom choose to involve creative exploration within their therapy.

I have CPD training in many different areas including Creative Therapy, Movement and Dance Therapy, working with Mental Health Difficulties, working with Trauma and Sexual Trauma, working with Eating Disorders and working with Addiction. I am dedicated to ongoing regular Continuing Professional Development.

After my training and therapy work to date my experience remains true to the original seed I have always believed in:That the most effective way I can help is by learning to listen and understand your unique experiences with acceptance, empathy, compassion, honesty and commitment.
