About me

The struggles we meet in our lives can become overwhelming- I offer a safe, compassionate space where you can share whatever you are facing and together we can explore your experiences, feelings and choices - helping you to discover your own way forward.

I have experience working with a wide range of the different challenges individuals bring- including anxiety, stress, depression, bereavement, addiction, work struggles, mental health struggles, relationship issues, trauma and PTSD. I aim to discover alongside you what your individual needs are and how we can help meet those needs in ways that support you.

I also offer the opportunity to incorporate Creative Therapy if, when and as you choose. This might involve the use of movement, sound, paint, clay, crafts, sand-play, poetry... whatever you are drawn to that helps you to explore and discover in a warm, non-judgmental enviroment.

I work from home in a peaceful, private space 5-10 mins walking distance from Glastonbury town center.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a L4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling CPCAB and L2 and 3 Counselling studies certificates with Strode College, Street, Somerset.

I have been a counsellor for Mind and New Dawn Counselling Agencies, offering low cost counselling to those in need as well as working in Private Practice.

I also have experience as a care and support worker working with people struggling with their mental health, people with learning disabilities and elders.

I graduated from Winchester University with a 1st class honours in Dance and Drama studies combined.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and have CPD training in Creative Therapy, Dance and Movement Therapy, working with anxiety, working with Mental Health difficulties, working with eating disorders, working with trauma and sexual trauma and working with addiction. I am dedicated to ongoing Continuing Professional Development.
