Welcome to my page, like you I was once looking through a directory in search of a therapist that could help me with my crippling anxiety. That was 15 years ago. I was lucky to find a therapist who understood exactly what support I needed.  I have since retrained as a psychotherapist and specialise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Trauma therapy, Bereavement Therapy, and Compassion Focused therapy.

So what does this all mean, well I can work with you to tailor a unique package of care to suits your individual needs.

COSCA is the professional body for counselling and psychotherapy in Scotland, and seeks to advance all forms of counselling and psychotherapy and the use of counselling skills by promoting best practice and through the delivery of a range of sustainable services. COSCA Counsellor Accreditation is a pathway to entry onto the UKRC.

It is a requirement of all individual and organisational members of COSCA to abide by its Statement of Ethics and Code of Practice and be accountable to the Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

I am an enthusiastic, professionally educated and insured psychotherapist, that has a wide range of experience working with addictions, bereavement and a vast range of mental health disorders. I work with clients 18+ and can tailor a unique researched and evidence based therapy package of care.

Additional information

Therapy session fees are between £40-£50, however this price point is negotiable depending on clients circumstances. Please feel free to contact me and discuss this further. Appointments will normally last 50 minutes but can be extended if necessary.

Payment is accepted through bank transfer, PayPal or via my website www.taketime4u.co.uk where credit and debit cards can be catered for,  indeed which ever is easier for the client.

Cancellations may be made up to 24 hours before appointment. After this time will be charged in full.   £40 - £50
