I offer on line, phone and now some face to face counselling.
I am an experienced practitioner and I specialise in working with relationships and loss. I love helping my clients understand how they relate to themselves and others and how they can use this awareness to lead to a fuller happier life.
The things that clients want help with might include; divorce, separation, loss of a loved one, relationship break up, depression, low mood, sadness, fear of being alone, anxiety, panic attacks, feeling stuck, as well as many other feelings and emotions.
Generally clients don't want to feel the way they are feeling and they want to be able to cope with certain things that are making them feel alone, as It's very hard at times to talk to friends and family as you don't want to burden them with your problems. Having some time and space where it is just for you to be really heard can be very rewarding.
Hopefully that might be where I come in.
As a counsellor I can help you to believe in your own potential. Make the changes you need to reach your goals and find better relationships. Help to build self awareness and self esteem. Help you make choices that are your choices. Take responsibility for your life. Be more aware especially of your own needs and the need of others and enable you to feel more confident and at peace with yourself.
I really want to understand your world and give you the space and time that will be just for you from your point of view. I offer warmth confidentiality and honesty. I believe I care deeply and hope I can give you the opportunity to have a full and satisfying life as that is truly every person's right.
I also offer clinical supervision to individual and small groups of qualified counsellors. For several years I worked as a clinical supervisor at a reputable counselling service. This has been a wonderful learning experience as i have worked with many counsellors and psychotherapists using different modalities in practice. Therefore I am very integrative in my approach to supervision. My Gestalt supervision qualification was from the Gestalt Centre London with Gaie Houston.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need more information
I look forward to hearing from you.

As a counsellor I believe in building an honest safe trusting environment. Helping my clients to explore their own creativity self awareness and responsibility. I have a history of working professionally in the theatre and TV world as a performer. This led me to a creative transition into my present role where I feel I can help to encourage self expression, experimentation and a certain amount of risk taking. Over the years I have worked both as a counsellor and also supervised many counsellors. I feel very lucky. There is always a wonderful experience for all of us constantly learning from each other, which enables each counsellor to develop as creative innovative and inspiring therapists.
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
