About me
Are you struggling or feeling overwhelmed? From time to time life can be challenging and it’s hard to know which way to turn. Sometimes in our lives it is helpful to seek support and know you are not alone. I am an experienced qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. I am not here to judge you but to offer you warmth, compassion and a safe space to help you make sense of the difficult feelings you are experiencing. People underestimate the power of talking so now may be the time to seek help. Family and friends can be helpful but you may feel that you don't want to burden them or they may be judgemental which may make you feel worse. Talking with a counsellor who is independent will allow you to share and explore these difficult feelings you are carrying.
My role is to get to know you better and develop a better understanding of how things are for you. Together we can explore your concerns and work together to help you move forward.
Part of my work involves offering counselling to chartered professionals. I have also worked in various organisations and charities over the years giving me a wealth of experience. I also receive referrals from GP's, EAP's and organisations.
I offer short and long term counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
I am a trained Online Therapist so alongside face to face and telephone counselling I work online via a secure encrypted platform by webcam, live chat and email.
If you would like to arrange an Initial 30 minute consultation I welcome your call or email.
I practice at a Well Being Clinic in Hall Green, South Birmingham and Birmingham City Centre.
I offer appointments weekdays in the evenings from 4 pm onwards and also weekends.

Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
