About me
Were you an optimistic teen who looked forward to a promising future? Did you hope to make a difference? To be in a loving and harmonious marriage? To raise an emotionally healthy family?
The reality of your thirties and forties can feel like a let-down: coping with a less than meaningful work routine, disharmony in your relationships with your spouse/kids; coming face to face with your own challenges from childhood or simple boredom with the daily drudge.
I believe our outer world is often a reflection of what's going on inside of us. The ‘stuff’ of life doesn’t dictate whether life is enjoyable and meaningful… our RESPONSE to the ‘stuff’ does. Our response is what defines whether our life is a masterpiece or a mess.
I’ll help you look at your response to the ‘stuff’ of your life. Your response starts from the inside- the place from which you manage (or struggle to manage!) your thoughts, feelings and decisions. Together we’ll explore:
- Getting comfortable in the driver’s seat of your life
- Learning to think wholistically
- Learning your preferred relationship and communication style
- Developing your own unique perspectives, meanings and special qualities
- Gaining greater awareness of your feelings in real time, while not becoming overwhelmed
- Learning to use your feelings as an internal message and processing the message
My job is to help you own this journey yourself and enable you to experience long term change. I look forward to working with you.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
