Hi, I am a experienced counsellor and my approach in counselling is Person-Centred.
I offer a space & an environment that is centred around and led by you, an environment where I value you as a person in your entirety, and a place where you will feel heard and understood. As a therapist and a personal growth professional I have had over 15 years of experience working in secondary schools and colleges with young people and I have worked with adults in various other therapeutic settings. I have worked with people to overcome internal & external barriers and to find answers that helped them to develop in their own unique way. Counselling can help you to make sense of your situation and it can also help you to gain strength and clarity to move forward in life.

Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully trained qualified counsellor with years of experience working with people facing various challenges like feeling lost in life and struggling to find direction and focus, or people dealing with divorce and separation. I run workshops and facilitate support groups that focus on issues which specifically affect women and girls.
I have experience of working in various settings which include youth clubs, religious institutes, Charity organisations, primary/secondary schools and colleges. As a counsellor in private practice and workshop facilitator I have also worked substantially with adults.
I also have experience working with a broad range of issues, including anxiety, low self esteem, lack of confidence, work stress, depression, sexual exploitation, relationship issues, family issues and much more.

How to arrange an initial session?
It is useful to have an initial discussion with me on the phone or via email to discuss your situation in a little more detail. This will also give you the opportunity to ask any questions that you might have about counselling or how I work.
If you then decide that you would like to make an appointment, we can arrange a time for us to meet and we can then discuss how we might move forward together.
