About me

Life can sometimes feel heavy, confusing, or just not how you hoped it would be. You might be feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, or unsure of where you're heading. It’s not always easy to make sense of things, especially when you're carrying so much.

Whether you’re going through a tough time emotionally, facing challenges in your relationships or career, or simply feeling stuck or lost, you’re not alone. I work with people of all ages who are navigating their own unique struggles. Whatever you're facing, I believe in your ability to heal and grow—and I’m here to support you through it.

I’m a qualified integrative counsellor, with experience working with both adults and young people. I offer a warm, supportive, and confidential space where you can talk openly and explore what’s going on for you, at your own pace. Depending on what feels right for you, I offer both in-person sessions and online therapy.

My approach is flexible and grounded in empathy, drawing from a range of therapeutic techniques to best support your individual needs. Together, we can work towards understanding what’s holding you back and finding a way forward that feels more in line with who you are and where you want to be.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a fully qualified Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I bring a wealth of experience working with both young people and adults, with a particular focus on Family Therapy and counselling for young people.

My background includes extensive experience in secondary schools, Sixth Form colleges, and agency settings, where I have supported clients aged 11 and above through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
