About me
You may be feeling...
Weighed down by unsaid thoughts or emotions, even with good friends and family around. Together, we can explore your relationships, habits and self-perception. As you gain deeper insight into yourself, you can begin to set healthier boundaries, strengthen your dynamics, build greater confidence and take greater ownership of your life’s direction.
Alternatively, you might feel balanced but curious about deepening self-discovery and personal growth. Counselling is not just for navigating difficulty - it’s also a space to uncover inspiration, connect with your inner world, and explore who you are at your core.
You may be seeking...
Support with anxiety, depression, depersonalisation (or depersonalization), confidence and self-esteem, addictions, bereavement, neurodivergence (ADHD, Autism Spectrum, etc.), health, relationships, work or exam stress, family dynamics and important life transitions. Whether seeking clarity, connection, or expansion, I’m here to support your journey. Weekly counselling provides a space to reframe your life and put you back in the driving seat.
How I work...
Often, just verbalising your thoughts and feelings can bring a profound sense of relief and clarity. I’m also able to offer tools that allow you to gain deeper insights. If you would like, we can explore mindfulness techniques such as breathing and meditation, which can be particularly helpful with emotional regulation.
Long-term and short-term counselling – Sessions can be open-ended, or we can work in structured blocks of 6, 12, 18, or 24 sessions. Choosing to work in blocks can help you forecast the cost and consider your investment in the therapeutic process.
Let’s find what works for you – I offer Integrative counselling, combining Person-Centred (Humanist), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Somatic approaches – with a psychodynamic underpinning. I’m informed by developments in modern neuroscience and mental health research, while Transactional Analysis (TA), Internal Family Systems, and Focusing all influence my approach.
At the heart of my work is a wealth of knowledge and a genuine interest in holistic health, well-being and the deeper aspects of life, drawing from a wide range of ideas, research, and philosophical perspectives.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
I offer flexible options, including short-term (12 sessions), longer-term, or open-ended support based on your needs. A block of six sessions can introduce new ways of thinking and offer some tools for managing anxiety; in 12 sessions, we can work through a recent loss or challenging situation, while deeper work typically unfolds over 20 or more sessions.
Sessions take place via Zoom so that you can access support from the comfort of your own home. This means no travel time and the freedom to connect wherever you are. Being in a familiar space can help you feel more at ease, making it easier to explore what's on your mind.
