I am a qualified counsellor, accredited by the National Counselling Society (NCS) and a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I work with a Person Centred approach, while integrating models of therapy where I think they may help the client.
I provide an empathic, supportive and confidential space where we can explore, together, what is going on in your life, without judgement. Exploring your thoughts and feelings with someone who will listen, understand and allow you to express those thoughts and feelings can help you to find your own solution or acceptance so that you can feel empowered to move forward.
Most of my working life has involved supporting people to improve their lives, from Care in the Community, working with young adults with Autism, volunteer for Victim Support and voluntary work for a counselling organisation.
Sometimes in life we find ourselves with a problem or struggle which is so overwhelming we don't know which way to turn. I turned to therapy myself when I was faced with such a problem which was affecting my daily life so much that I could not see a way out. Through therapy I was able to see things more clearly, make changes, and improve my life.
If you are ready to take that first step you can call and leave a message, text or email me and I will respond as soon as possible.
