About me

I have been working as a counsellor in the High Wycombe, Marlow, Amersham and around Buckinghamshire for the past 15years. I am committed to providing a safe, confidential and non- judgemental environment.

I am a person centred counsellor, which means I offer you acceptance and understanding and work with you at your pace in a way that helps you to make your own decisions and develop your own resource. We work together with the aim to enable you to enhance your life, counselling I believe can help with this.

Come along for a free initial counselling session for 30 minutes, meet me and ask any questions you need to and then, if we would like to continue we can book further sessions.

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained at Metanoia Institute and have a Degree in counselling I have a certificate in Supervision from the OCN open college network I am an Accredited member of the BACP and abide by their Ethical Framework.

I am experienced in working with Anxiety, Bereavement, Depression, Addiction, Relationship, Anger, Sexuality, to name but a few.

I work in a school as a counsellor and have done this for 10 years. I have been working in private practice for 7 years now and see clients evening and weekends.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.


British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs.
