Baljit is the founder of Well Space Therapy.

I understand that taking the first step towards seeking help is often a very daunting prospect. Making the decision to get help and address the concerns you are facing is an important first step and should be commended.

The aim of Well Space Therapy is to provide you with a safe space to talk. I offer a relaxed and non-judgemental space for you to explore your concerns and thoughts when life becomes difficult or uncertain. All sessions are private, secure and completely confidential.

About me:

I have twenty-five years of experience working in both the private and public sector.

In 2013 out of interest I enrolled on a course, ‘‘Awareness in Bereavement Care’’. The course was organised by a charity called, Cruse Bereavement Care.

Not only did this course inspire me, but it also gave me the motivation to retrain as a professional therapist. I continued to support the charity and in 2013, I began my placement with the organisation by counselling clients on a voluntary basis. For four years, I worked passionately with young people and adults, enabling them to work effectively through the bereavement process at their own pace. My interest in the mental health industry grew and in 2019, I transitioned to this field by setting up my own private practice.

My philosophy is that if you can have emotional and psychological well being, you can achieve your potential in many areas of your life. There are some of us who just require a little more help than others. My aim is to provide support and add positive value to each client I work with.

Area of expertise:

I have experience of working with adults (18+), who come from a diverse cultural background. The range of presenting issues I work with includes Loss & Bereavement, Suicide, Stress, Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, Low Self-Esteem and Confidence, Self-harm, Bullying, Work-Related Issues, Redundancy, Health Related Issues and Life Transitions.

What you can expect?

In my practice, I apply an integrated approach. This means I implement different models to tailor and suit each clients’ need. My depth and knowledge enables me to work collaboratively with clients utilising a broad range of therapeutic approaches, including Psychotherapy, Person Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness.

If you are thinking about counselling but unsure about the process, I offer a free 30 minute initial consultation to answer any questions you may have.

To book an appointment, please call on 07544679406.
