About me

I offer person-centred counselling to adults (18+) in English or German worldwide online. Life is rarely straightforward and if You’re currently having a difficult time, it can be helpful and comforting to talk with someone without judgment. A place where You can explore feelings, release heaviness, confusion, and thoughts from Your head, reflect, and be able to breathe again. I can hold this space for You.

"People start to heal the moment they feel heard." (Cheryl Richardson)

I've worked with people from all around the world who have experienced difficulties such as: - depression - anxiety - life transitions - difficult relationships with partner, friends, mother, or themselves - inner conflicts - self-esteem - dark thoughts - feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or never good enough - moving cities / countries - Expat life - and more...

Specialised areas I'm not trained in: - eating disorders - personality disorders - complex trauma (including self-harm, PTSD e.g. flashbacks from traumatic events) - addiction - domestic violence

Throughout our time together You will gain more self-awareness, understanding, clarity, and confidence so You can lead a more fulfilled and authentic life. Because when we feel truly heard, we can begin to heal from within.

I offer a 20-30min free chat so we can see if we would like to work together.

All the best & warmest wishes, Babette

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
