About me

I am a registered Psychotherapist working with clients in Central London, East London and West Essex. I work with people experiencing depression, anxiety and anger management difficulties, and work related stress. Often people attend as a result of traumas or relationship problems or when struggling with a bereavement.

My Approach

I use a solution (Outcome) focussed model. This means that whilst we address your key concerns and reasons for attending psychotherapy, we also make connections between what you say and its relationship to your desired outcomes (there tends to be a natural connection between the two).

I recognise that you are the key agent of change in your process; even if you do not have this self-belief, I hold this belief for you until you do. We work at your pace.

The key aspects of how I work are:

To support you to promote balance and thus health in your day to day life. This includes looking at your behaviour and thinking patterns and how these can be modified to improve your experiences.

The aim is to help you work through struggles and difficulties by addressing the underlying causes and help you to make sense of your thoughts, feelings, behaviours and ways of relating to both yourself and others.

How can Psychotherapy help? You have the opportunity to:

1) Meet regularly with a psychotherapist, in a constructive environment and be heard.
2) Explore your choices and the ways you can move forward, in a safe environment.

Training, qualifications & experience

Dip Neuro Linguistic Psychotherapy, 2010; Master NLP Practitioner, 2009. Occupational Therapist (Mental Health), 2000.

I work as a Psychotherapist, Counsellor. Oftentimes I work 1-1, however, I also run bespoke workshops to meet specific needs.

I have worked as an Occupational Therapist in Mental Health (NHS) since 2000, so I have experience working with and managing quite complex client cases.
