About me

I have experience in working face-to-face and now offer video conferencing online with Zoom, i do help if needed, in accessing and using the app makeing the process as easy as possible. Helping People through Challenges of Life, I know how difficult it can be to take that first step.

How I Practice
Helping with anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement relationships and more can be explored and deeper understanding of your own thoughts, feelings and beliefs can be achieved, allowing change to take place.

Maybe you are feeling depressed, alone, anxious? Are struggling with low self-esteem or a relationship?  It could be that you’re coping with a bereavement and finding that this loss has brought up other difficulties in your life.

The first initial assessment session is 40 mins for £25

This gives you the chance to meet me and to feel comfortable.  I offer a safe respectful, confidential space where you can express your feelings without judgement.

Here you are able to tell me of your concerns / issues. It also allows you to ask questions around anything that you may not understand or would like clarifying. I gather some basic information about your present and past situation, we can also explore whether counselling is right for you and whether it feels we can work together on your issues.

Once it is decided we are working together then each session cost is £45  for 50 minutes  we would normally meet weekly. Review the work / issues that we are dealing after a few sessions, giving us both a chance to assess how the relationship is working out.

I offer both long and short term therapy, and so the number of sessions can be negotiated between us.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
