To find out more about the service I offer, you can read below.
Everyone walks a different path in life and lead's their individual lives. No matter what path you have taken it can provide it's own obstacles, burdens and difficulties. It can become overwhelming and challenging, and seeking support can be the first step to working through these difficult aspects in life.
I aim to provide a counselling and therapeutic service which helps you to work through your difficulties and your emotions, as well as individuals struggling with mental health problems, and people who have experienced trauma or abuse. The Counselling process can create an environment for you to feel unburdened, aware and understood.
How I work
I use an integrative approach, which involves using various skills, techniques and methods based on the individual needs of each client. However, core to the counselling process is the relationship between myself and every client and being able to build this up to provide a safe comfortable environment for you to share.
I have a holistic style to working by looking at the whole self both internally and externally and the impact on the person. As every person is different and therefore will experience a unique therapeutic journey. We will work together with what you choose to share in each session and what is uncovered during the process. To provide you with the space to explore your thoughts, feelings and to unlock your truth and establish an understanding of how you would like to navigate your life based on your discovery during this journey.
Therefore if you decide today is the day for things to change for you, contact me to enquire further or to arrange your free telephone consultation.
Youth Counselling & Mentoring (11- 18 years old)
I have 6 years experience of working with young people in a therapeutic and mentoring environment. Mental Wellbeing has become paramount as society has developed particularly for young people growing up in such turbulent times. Young people are proving less resilient when enduring difficulties in life and feel at an emotional capacity and would benefit from therapeutic based sessions.
I offer individual counselling to young people to provide support with managing there emotions, stress and difficulties they may be facing during this time.
Alternatively, I offer information, advice and guidance mentoring programme across a period of 12 months, for personal and professional development as well as building emotional intelligence and resilience training within the young person.
