About me
Are you feeling anxious, depressed, or overwhelmed? Are you struggling with low self-worth, grief, or difficulties in your relationships? Do you feel stuck, unsure of who you are or where you’re going? Perhaps you’re exploring your sense of identity—personally, culturally, or as a neurodiverse individual. Living with experiences such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, or dyspraxia can bring unique challenges, like managing focus, handling sensory overload, or navigating social interactions.
My name is Arran and I am a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor and Holistic Mental Health & Wellbeing Coach I offer a warm, safe, boundaried, non-judgemental and confidential space where a person can talk about and explore their problems, issues or concerns. I can help a person notice, acknowledge and talk about what they are thinking, feeling and experiencing on a physical bodily level and their behaviour.
I have experience of supporting people who experience issues including depression, anxiety, grief, panic attacks, stress, procrastination, lack of confidence, self-esteem and self-worth.
This process can help you gain awareness, insight, cope with difficult feelings and emotions and develop strategies and techniques for managing stressful and difficult situations.
It’s a place to feel heard, reflect on your experiences, and begin to make sense of what’s weighing on you.
I am mindful of the fundamental importance of the therapeutic relationship which has the ability to promote healing and facilitate positive change within a person's life.
Building a rapport and a trusting relationship is at the heart of the work and can help enhance the overall success of the therapeutic process, produce positive outcomes from counselling and create change.
How I Work
As a humanistic integrative counsellor, I believe in creating a space that meets your unique needs. I draw from a range of therapeutic methods, including person-centred, existential, Gestalt, and transpersonal therapy. I also incorporate insights from psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Transactional Analysis when they may be helpful.
I work holistically, looking at how the mind, body, and emotions are interconnected. This flexible approach allows me to adapt to where you are and support you in a way that feels meaningful.
Holistic Mental Health & Wellbeing Coaching
I also offer holistic mental health & wellbeing coaching for those who want to address challenges in their life including their relationships, career, managing stress, decision making, burnout, life transitions or finding purpose. Contact me if you would like to find out more.
What I Offer
I work with individuals 1:1 offering counselling and coaching. Counselling focuses on understanding your past and present, exploring emotions, and creating a safe space for healing. Coaching focuses on identifying goals and creating strategies to move forward. For some, a blended approach offers the best of both worlds.
If you’re unsure whether counselling or coaching is right for you or if you would like to find out more about how I can help, I offer a free 15 minute discovery call. This provides you with the opportunity to ask any questions and ensure we are a good fit for working together.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
