About me
I have worked with clients facing anxiety, depression, and low moods, and I am confident that, together, we can find a way forward.
Our sessions will be guided by you - your thoughts, feelings, and experiences - at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you’re struggling with something specific or just feeling lost, you don’t have to face it alone.
What life has taught me
Through my own life experiences, I understand the ups and downs that come with life’s challenges, and I am here to navigate them with you. I have worked with clients facing anxiety, depression, and low moods, and I am confident that, together, we can find a way forward.
Sometimes, simply talking to someone who truly listens and acknowledges what you’re going through can bring a sense of relief. Knowing that someone understands and empathises with your struggles can ease the weight you may be carrying. When life feels overwhelming, the world can seem isolating and daunting, but you do not have to face it alone. I am here to support you.
What to expect in our first sessions
Our initial sessions will be centred on you - where you are now, where you would like to be, and what may be standing in your way. My role is to support you in making sense of these challenges and, with patience and understanding, help you untangle them and find a way forward that feels more manageable and meaningful.
The healing journey
You have the ability to find happiness and fulfilment, and this space is here for you to explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment. At times, you may find it helpful to see things from a different perspective, and I will support you in gently challenging your thoughts and feelings to help you gain clarity and understanding.
My experience and how I can help you
Growing up in a multicultural society and coming from a mixed heritage, I understand what it’s like to feel different or out of place.
That sense of being on the outside looking in can be challenging, and it can take time to make sense of those feelings.
I recognise how this can affect mental well-being, often leaving emotions unspoken and unresolved. It took me years to see that difference is not a weakness but a strength, and I want to offer you a space where we can explore that together.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Your connection with a counsellor is an important part of the healing process. To help you decide if I’m the right fit, I offer a free 15-minute consultation over Zoom or phone. This is a chance for you to ask any questions, share a little about what you’re looking for, and get a feel for how we might work together.
