About me

Hello, I’m Arfeen a dedicated and compassionate fully qualified counsellor fluent in both English and Hinko, I work with adults offering face to face and remote counselling. I have also trained as a grief counsellor. I’m here to offer you a sanctuary of understanding and support. Imagine a space where you can freely express your thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment—a space where your inner world is not only heard but truly understood.

I firmly believe that within each individual lies the wisdom and strength to overcome life’s challenges. My role is not to dictate solutions but to empower you to discover your own answers and navigate your journey towards healing and growth.

With a deep understanding that every person and relationship is unique, I tailor my approach to cater to your specific needs and preferences. Whether you’re grappling with grief, ADHD, autism, or the weight of caregiving responsibilities, I am here to walk alongside you, providing unwavering support and guidance.

As a proud member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I uphold the highest ethical standards and continuously strive to enhance my skills through supervision and professional development. Your confidentiality and safety are my top priorities, and I am fully covered by professional liability insurance.

Let’s embark on this transformative journey together. Whether you’re seeking short-term relief or long-term exploration, my person-centred approach promises a nurturing and empowering experience. Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
