If you are experiencing ongoing difficulties in your life or struggling to cope with emotional issues, you may find therapy really helpful. I provide a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space in which to receive support, reflect deeply on past and present life situations and move toward change.
I have a practice in Shoreditch and Haggerston, London and work with some clients online.
I've worked with a lot of clients who are experiencing relationship difficulties, anxiety and depression, as well as working with anger, bereavement and issues of self esteem. Recently I have been looking at the impact work-related stress has on our overall well being and working to help clients take the steps they need to improve their overall quality of life.
I’m an integrative psychotherapist, which essentially means I see each of us as individuals who may all benefit from different forms of therapy and so I work to tailor my approach to each individual client.
I see the therapeutic process as a collaborative one, and place the relationship between the therapist and client at the heart of the therapeutic success. I am particularly interested in early childhood development and relationships, and the impact early childhood experiences have on our adult lives. I’m also really interested in dream work. Dreams are messages from our unconscious and they can provide great insight.
I offer a discounted initial consultation where you can come to discuss your reasons for seeking counselling, ask me any questions you have about the counselling process and decide if you are comfortable to proceed with some sessions.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified BACP registered psychotherapist.
I began my foundation training with the Tivoli Institute in Dublin in 2010, going on to complete their professional diploma in early 2014. I have worked with a wide range of clients, both in the short and long term, on a great variety of issues. I relocated to London in early 2015.
Since then I have worked on placement in the NHS IAPT service in Lambeth, the University of Roehampton as part of the well being team and have been growing my private practice.
I undertake regular continuous professional development courses, workshops and training to keep up to date with new theories, approaches and developments.
