About me
I am a Chartered Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society with extensive experience in treating a wide range of psychological difficulties in adults (aged 17 and over) with a clinic In Petersfield, Hampshire.
I specialise in assessing, diagnosing and working with people who have Asperger's / Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASCs). I also specialise in working with people who struggle to manage their emotions and who engage in a variety of self-limiting or self-damaging behaviours and who may have a diagnosis of Personality Disorder. I can also help with many other psychological difficulties including anxiety, depression, stress, low self-worth, post-traumatic stress or self-harm.
I offer a range of therapies which have strong evidence supporting their effectiveness and am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT); Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Schema Therapy. I am registered with most private health insurance providers.
I am also a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC).

Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

Health and Care Professions Council
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

I deliver high quality assessment and evidence-based treatment and tailor therapy to the unique needs of each client. My aim is not only reduce psychological difficulties but also to build psychological strength and wellbeing.
