Anne Marie Miller PgDip Counselling and Psychotherapy Reg' MBACP
As a Person Centred Counsellor I would like to offer you a trusting relationship where you feel safe, accepted and understood. I will help you to explore the place in which you find yourself and provide you with the necessary and vital support to help you. I will accompany you on that difficult path, supporting you in a non-judgemental way, helping you understand the world from your own point of view.
It may seem difficult to consider opening up your thoughts and feelings to a stranger. However, this disclosure could play an important part in your journey of healing and growth. Through my personal and professional experience, I have seen and felt the real benefit of being able to talk things through with someone who can listen and is committed to helping me in my journey.
In our sessions I aim to be as true to the person centred approach as possible. I will not tell you what to do, only encourage you to explore your own experiences, helping you to make sense of them. You are the expert in your life and I will support you, listening to your reality whilst working alongside you to find insight and acceptance.
Each person will use the space in a different way, some know what they want and need and others are unsure. My aim is to offer you a place where you can feel safe, accepted and understood, a space to discover yourself and find that inner strength to empower you in your life. This can be a painful journey but I will share this with you in a caring and empathic way.
