About me

Hi, I’m Anne-Marie.  I offer integrative therapy including Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you heal at depth and move forward with clarity – in Glasgow and online.

You might feel stuck in anxiety, low mood, or difficult relationship patterns — even though you’ve tried to work through it. You want more than short-term coping. You want lasting change.

That’s where I can help.

I’m a fully qualified therapist with over 20 years’ experience, helping people make sense of their problems, heal,  and reconnect with their inner strength.

I work with people who want to understand themselves better, shift what’s keeping them stuck, and build meaningful change from the inside out.

I know that reaching out for support can feel like a big step. My priority is to offer a safe, non-judgemental space where you feel genuinely heard and supported. My approach is warm, respectful, and grounded in compassion.

We’ll work at your pace and I’ll tailor the work to what you most need, whether that’s navigating current stress or processing long-held wounds.

I specialise in Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy,  a transformative, evidence-based method that helps you access deep healing — especially when other approaches haven’t fully helped. IFS takes the view that we are all comprised of "parts" and helps you to get to know your own 'internal family' -  the parts of you that carry pain, the parts that protect you and that parts that can sometimes keep you stuck.

I also draw on:
- Person-Centred and Experiential Therapy
- Psychodynamic Therapy
- Gestalt Therapy

Training, qualifications & experience
With over 20 years’ experience, I bring a rich foundation of therapeutic knowledge and human understanding to our work. I’ve supported people through a wide range of emotional challenges, from anxiety and trauma to relationship issues and struggles with self-esteem.

My work is grounded in a belief in every person’s capacity for growth and change.

I offer sessions both in person (West End of Glasgow) and online across Scotland and the UK.

Fees: £60 per 60-minute session

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
