My name is Anna Sagredou. I am an associate Fellow in Counselling Psychology and an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. I have longstanding experience as a psychologist and I have worked for the NHS, as well as for charities and in private practice for many years. I have been employed in several countries, including the UK, Greece, Cyprus and Thailand, and hence, I have worked with people from various cultural backgrounds.
At the moment I offer therapy online.
In addition to my own private practice, I am currently teaching CBT at postgraduate level.
As part of my approach, I employ a variety of techniques, namely cognitive behavioural psychotherapy, mindfulness and compassion focused therapy, psychodynamic and person-centred theory.
My work follows the guidelines of the National Institute of Clinical Excellence to provide effective treatment interventions.
What to expect during our first session
Before booking an appointment we will have a free 15 minutes telephone consultation. In our fist session we will be gathering all the required information in order to clearly understand the issues/difficulties that brought you to therapy. We will then decide together on the best treatment.
Sessions usually occur once a week or every fortnight at the same time and day and last approximately 50 minute each. The number of sessions required will depend on the presenting issues and your therapy goals.
