About me

Hi, thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.

I am an experienced integrative Psychotherapist working in private practice offering face to face and online sessions. I have experience helping couples and individuals with Relationship support, whether that is support in the aftermath of an affair, help with communication or arguments or wider family situations. I also work with individuals to support them in areas such as anxiety, depression, stress, self esteem and peer relationships.

I am qualified and specialise in working with sex and porn addiction, both with individual clients or working with addicts and their partners, individually and in couple recovery.

Relationships make up such an important part of our lives, they can be healthy, fulfilling and a secure place to be yourself. However when there are difficulties in our relationships our whole wellbeing can feel affected, life can feel more stressful, many people can experience anxiety and depression. You may be reading this wanting to work on some of these difficulties and to work through this to get back to, or create, a healthy, happy and fulfilling relationship. It may be that your relationship has ended and you want to explore the reasons for this, to work on rebuilding your confidence and on moving forward.

I have supported 1000's of individuals and couples to work through difficult and often heartbreaking times, I hope I can also help you.

My approach is an integration of predominantly Psychodynamic and Systemic theories, I also however have training in many areas to give me as many tools as possible to help you. I offer a safe, calm and confidential environment in which we can explore your reasons for seeking therapy and navigate beginning to make positive change and reaching your goals. Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

ATSAC
Association for the Treatment of Sexual Addiction and Compulsivity (ATSAC)

The Association for Treatment of Sexual Addiction and Compulsivity (ATSAC) is the leading UK organisation providing hope, information, support, and treatment options for those affected by sexual addiction and compulsivity.

ATSAC sets standards of practice for qualified therapists and provides accreditation for specialist training courses. A therapist who has gone through ATSAC recognised training will have the knowledge to respect and work with you sensitively to find out how best to support your needs.

Therapy options may include one-to-one sessions, group work, and/or relationship counselling. ATSAC is a not-for-profit organisation.
