Anna Mountford UKCP Psychotherapist
There are times in life when most of us experience a range of emotions. This might be due to life's difficult or challenging circumstances or as a result of complex inner processes. It can often help to talk through and share these experiences with a counsellor.
I work with individuals to try to make sense of and understand why you might feel and experience things in a certain way. In doing this, I aim to provide each client with the opportunity to learn more about themselves. I am particularly interested in how unresolved issues from the past can have an impact in the present, and work collaboratively with each client to explore and resolve these issues.
I am a UKCP accredited psychotherapist with a Master’s Degree in Integrative Psychotherapy, gained from The Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute. I am also a Registered Counsellor Member of the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC). I have over 5 years’ experience of working with adults, on a broad range of issues and concerns. Weekly sessions can be either short term (6 sessions) or long term basis (more than 12 sessions), depending on individual need. My private practice is based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.
If you would like more information, I would be happy to speak with you either on the telephone or respond to any queries via email.
