At any stage in our lives, relationships and events can leave us with deep hurt and confusion that needs professional help. Counselling can give hope and help untangle confusing thoughts and emotions to understand our true selves and our relationships better, leading to a happier life. Experiencing a therapeutic relationship where you are genuinely valued, understood and accepted without judgement, can be in itself healing.
People find me to be a good listener, genuine, warm, understanding and non-judgemental.
As a person-centred creative counsellor, I see the client and therapist as equals. I provide you with a safe, confidential space to explore the issues that you bring. These sessions are yours, to use as you wish.
Sometimes finding the right words to communicate feelings and experiences can be just too difficult. As a creative counsellor I can help you deeply express yourself, at your own pace, through the use of art, clay and other therapeutic interventions, which can have a profound effect for resolving difficult issues. This can be useful at any age or ability.
I am ready to welcome you for safe, confidential, professional counselling.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Creative Counselling Therapy helps clients explore their thoughts, feelings and beliefs using creative therapeutic techniques. These interventions can be used within person-centred, CBT and psychodynamic approaches and are optional for the client to use with their skill-trained therapist.
Examples of this maybe the use of art, clay, music, drama, journaling, visualisation.
Creative therapeutic interventions can help clients express themselves experientially, using senses of sight, sound, touch and visualisation to communicate and verify their experiences and sensed emotions and can tap into their subconscious facilitating a powerful connection and shift in their psycholgical processing.
